Dinner Dilemmas: Part 4

19 Apr
First of all, I want to thank each of you that left me a message earlier today.
I read each one.
Thank you so much –
you will never know how much each one of them meant.
You guys are AWESOME!
I actually got an email directly from the blogger who had those things on her site. She apologized and took the images and comments down, plus posted an apology on her blog too. I have to say that I really admire her for doing that — it took courage and was a hard thing to do. I forgive her — and I’m moving on.
I am really enjoying these Dinner Dilemma discussions. You guys have given me such great ideas and linked up so many wonderful thoughts, recipes and solutions! Thank you so much for doing it!
This week went really great! We met as a family on Sunday to decide who was going to do which theme for which night. And the we all picked out our recipes that we wanted to make. I even had the kids write me up a grocery list of what they needed. On Monday I went to the store and got all of the ingredients.
Here’s what we had:

There are great links over at the previous post where I have a linky — I’m calling it the Dinner Dilemmas Forum snazzy, huh? There are tons of great recipes, ideas for meal planning and projects. Check it out. If you have a post that you’ve done in the past and would like to link it up — please do!  It is so nice to have so many talented people who have great systems in place that will help dinner time go smoother for the rest of us!

I also wanted to share a great idea from
Brooke @ Making It Domestic Meal Swapping
Go check it out!
She only has to cook 1 night a week. Maybe we can get her to write a follow-up post about it for next week’s Dinner Dilemmas post!

And, another great post that is linked up is by
Kelli @ Smidgens of Piffle — Meal Planning 101 in 8 Simple Steps!

So, how did dinner time go at your house this week? Did you have a successful meal or idea that you can share? Feel free to leave a comment on this post and you can also link your idea up in the Dinner Dilemma Forum.

On the menu for this week:
