Featuring Cassity @ Remodelaholic!

30 Mar
My name is Cassity,
and I am a Remodelaholic
(forgive the cheesy picture…. I couldn’t stop myself!)
…well at least I have a blog called Remodelaholic.  And, I am so excited to be blog swappin’ with Jen today.  Isn’t is funny how in this bloggin community we feel like we are friends with people we don’t actually know.  Well, I feel like Jen and I are good friends.  Of course she is the stylish, cool friend and I am the frumpy, paint on her fingernails friend but that just makes life more fun right?
I am here to introduce myself and my blog, Remodelaholic.   My name is Cassity, I am a wife, a mother and an interior designer by degree.  My husband Justin is a Landscape Architect and a honey do list genius!
Halloween 2009 The Three Amigos
We are remodeling our third house.  The thing is, we don’t like to spend a lot of money to get the look we want… Can I get an Amen?   So, we are always trying new creative solutions.  Then we share them with you, with complete tutorials to make it as easy to recreate as possible.
On my blog you will find:
Recipes (and a linky party just for recipes)
Guest House Tours (Mondays starting in April)
Here are some of the projects you will find on my blog:

Mosaic Art Tutorial

Stop by Remodelaholic when you get a chance!
Thanks Jen for letting us have the swap today!

Thanks Cassity!

Hello tatertots & jello Fans~ I am Jennie, or some know me as JenGlamGirl, and I am from Larsenloves. I AM THRILLED to be a spotlighting my blog today on JenJen’s blog. This is my very first spotlight ever… so I am excited! I thoroughly love JenJen’s blog!!! she is the burlap queen!!! and an inspiration for sure.

A little about me, I married my blind date (by big brother approval) his name is Kevin and we have been married for 10 years going on 11. We have three children together Preston 8, Arabella 4, and Ryker 15 mos. Together we live in beautiful Southern Utah. I stay at home with my dumplings and keep busy with them. As well as many crafts, projects, diy days, decorating, cooking, and of course blogging. Let me share just some of the things I enjoy doing, creating, and sprucing, and then blogging them 😉
I will start you off, by showing you this chair and table my hunny and I re-finished a little over a year ago. It was light oak on top and the base and chairs were a aqua country blue, with big blue and white gingham cushions. I told the hun, that I wanted black and dark walnut. We HE worked hard, but I helped too!

Here is a DIY picture arrangment or grouping I put together in my hallway nook. I “ADORE” my children.

One large DIY project I did, was finding this huge shelf on Craigslist in knotty pine and then painting, painting, touching up, and sanding it. Its a treasure I sure enjoy, as well as changing out and decorating for the holidays.

I love LOVE to decorate, and will show you my decorations in hopes to inspire. 😉 I especially show my decorations during the holidays. I love to decorate my entry table… NEXT UP will be EASTER…. This picture was this Valentines.

Another DIY project I did was prime, paint, decoupage, and vinyl my daughters headboard.

I love crafts and just recently opened up a craft blog Craftomaniac.blogspot.com for all things crafty. I painted these X&O’s for V-day and added ribbon. I have lots of Easter crafts coming up….

I offer a few other fun things on my blog during the week, like Sweet Saturday Somethings, Fashion Fridays (everyother Friday) and Wordless Wednesdays…. There will always be silly fun updates and pics. on the fam. too.
here is an example:

Doll up the eyes, with color!

AND ON THIS Wednesday its only appropriate that I do a~
Wordless Wednesday~ ” PRETTY IN PINK”

I sure hope you all come visit me at LarsenLoves, I would be thrilled and flattered if you followed me too!

AND A GIANT THANK YOU AGAIN TO JenJen!!! 😉

Check Her Out!
