Friday Favorites and a winner

23 Jan
I decided to take my kids to the movies instead of writing up the Friday Favorites, so — sorry they are late. We had a great time. I took them to see Disney’s Tooth movie. I thought it was very funny! Of course my older kids had to pretend that they didn’t like it (but I think they did). My husband was working in Toronto all week and then his flight got delayed by 7 hours. So it got us out of the house for the night.
Here are some projects that caught my eye this week.
Laurel @ Ducks in a Row — made these adorable “technology tickets”. Her kids earn their tv, computer and game time. I love this idea and the way she did it is so cute too!
Kristen @ The Crepe Confectionary — love this wreath made out of coffee filters! She dyed them too! So sweet.
Jen @ Lipstick and Laundry — how simple and cute is this? I love that this can bring the Valentine spirit to your home for nothing. And so easy. I am doing this one today.

Disney @ Ruffles and Stuff — made this Box of Chocolates shirt. What a cute project to do with my girls!
Pam @ Bibbidi Bobbidi Beautiful — I just found this blog this week! Love this slipcovered coffee table. I am going to do this in my living room. And, she made the most gorgeous slipcovers for her couch too!
Dena @ Sweet Pickles and Chocolate — made dolled up big lollipops using her Cricut. I got one for Christmas and this might be my first Cricut Project. These would be so fun to make up and send to Ella’s preschool for Valentine’s Day!
Miranda @ A Duck in her Pond — You really need to go over and see Miranda’s blog. She is the most imaginative girl. She writes the most amazing stories. I love to read them and I print some of them off and read them to my kids.  My favorites are Twirl, The Gift and The Coconut Queen. I really think she will be famous one day soon!
And speaking of writers, the winner of the Cerella’s book – Love Finds You in Hershey Pennsylvania and the homemade bookmark is:
Random.org picked Robyn from The Smiling Larsons. Here’s her comment:
I love reading and freebies! Here’s to hoping I win something for once!
And I’m so excited for this coming week. I am hosting a great giveaway from a wonderful etsy seller who is donating a portion of her sales to the victims in Haiti. Plus, a modern twist on a Valentine project. And another version of Reader Spotlights. Plus a few other fun projects. AND, my new sewing machine came!!! So I am excited to make up some fun projects with it. Yay!
Have a wonderful weekend!!!
XOXO
